Fiji Travel Guide is the one-stop resource for independent-minded travellers to this exotic south pacific destination. Our detailed travel information with links to relevant Fiji accommodation and helpful maps and pictures is the perfect tool for planning your travels.

Fiji is a collection of over 300 islands in the South-West Pacific, from tiny palm fringed coral atolls to large volcanic islands with lush tropical rain forest and remote Fijian villages. There is something here for everyone: romantic couples, discerning travellers, thrill seekers and backpackers. If you are trying to decide which island is best for your style of holiday, our regional Fiji Travel Guide will help you decide where to go with general travel information on how to get there and what to expect when you arrive.

Our Fiji Accommodation Guide will advise you on everything from property styles and the price you can expect to pay, to a comprehensive directory of cook islands accommodation and an independent review

Viti Levu is the main island with the international airport at Nadi. There are lots of large beach resorts here and the island has outstanding rainforest with plenty of interesting day tours to explore the region.

Offshore from Nadi is the ever popular but rather Mamanuca Islands - a collection of small coral islands and holiday resorts with some great surfing sites. Beyond is the more secluded Yasawa Islands with remote beaches, backpacker hideaways and beautiful snorkelling lagoons.

Fiji ranks in the top 10 scuba diving destinations in the world and the very best dive sites are located in the Northern Islands and Southern Islands. Both offer rich tropical rainforest and hiking trails with plenty of specialist dive resorts.

Discerning travellers will enjoy exploring the Lomaiviti Group off the east coast of Viti Levu whilst further east, extending towards Tonga, is the Lau Group, a collection of almost 100 remote islands with traditional culture and are rarely visited by tourists with limited accommodation.

The isolated Polynesian island of Rotuma in the far north of the group is without doubt the nicest of all the Fiji Islands but lacks accommodation and is very expensive to get to.

Our travel guide is full of pictures and maps to give you a clear impression of the region. We also provide useful links throughout our text so you can find out more about tours and accommodation and make reservations.
